MONTECITO, CALIFORNIA: Netflix has been keeping up with the Susse.xes to get the front seat in case there is a divorce, claims a journalist.

This comes after the streaming giant revealed that it has concluded filming the second season of Meghan Markle's lifestyle show, 'With Love, Meghan', as reported by The Daily Beast.

Netflix's continued association with the Susse.xes has raised eyebrows, with many wondering why the company has been keeping it sweet with Prince Harry and his wife. Journalist Marina Hyde, meanwhile, links Netflix's decision with the theory that people are "hanging around in case there’s a divorce."

Except for the couple’s bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey - which subsequently paved the way for their deteriorated relationship with the royal family - and their documentary 'Harry & Meghan', most of the couple's projects have bombed.

On her 'The Rest is Entertainment' podcast, which she co-hosts with Richard Osman, Hyde said, "They [Netflix] are not going to renew. They might say we're continuing to develop projects with them. The reality is that a lot of people are hanging around in case there's a divorce."

"That might be why Netflix, or whoever it might be, who’s got to deal with them, might keep a vague hand in," explained the journalist.

While there is still no proof to the claim, a recent Vanity Fair article said that Meghan's team has allegedly shown discreet interest in a potential post-divorce book.

Prince Harry slammed trolls for doubting his and Meghan Markle's relationship

Despite the strong online chatter regarding a potential divorce between the Susse.xes, Prince Harry challenged the narrative during a press summit in December.

Speaking to Andrew Ross Sorkin during a media summit in New York, the Duke of Susse.x reflected on the public's persistent fascination with their marriage.

"They're fascinated Meghan is in California right now, and you're here," Sorkin said, before continuing, "There are articles left and right about: 'Why are you making, doing independent events? Why aren't you doing them together?"

Harry replied, "Apparently we've bought or moved house 10, 12 times. We've apparently divorced maybe 10, 12 times as well. So it's just like, 'What?'" as per GB News.

He continued to bash the trolls, saying, "It's hard to keep up with, but that's why you just sort of ignore it. The people I feel most sorry about are the trolls. Their hopes are just built and built, and it's like, 'Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes', and then it doesn't happen. So I feel sorry for them. Genuinely, I do."
